The Planning Hub hosted on the Lets Talk Wealden platform has been designed as a platform to help you, our community engage with Planning Services.
Visit the Lets Talk Wealden Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about the platform and take a look at some answers to common questions about the Planning Hub on this page.
You can use the Planning Hub to:

- Use the timeline feature to know where the application is in the process
- Provide informal feedback on the applications through the discussion forum
- Learn how you can engage with wider planning applications

No. The forum where comments can be made is an informal space to enable the community to discuss the merits of the application.
Formal comments will need to be submitted through our Planning Applications Online System.
Most planning applications have a period in which you can make comments. You may comment on an application until the latest of these dates:
- The expiry of the site notice
- The expiry of the advert (where relevant)
The expiry date will be displayed on the main details page of the planning application on our Planning Applications Online System.
We want to ensure that everyone who wants to contribute is enabled to do so. The forum is a place where you can informally add a comment about the application.
Where contributions breach moderation rules, we will act accordingly and reserve the right to remove any comments that are deemed not suitable or relevant.
Use the ‘Making Effective Comments‘ to shape what you want to write in the forum.
Visit the Planning register through the Planning Applications Online System.
We welcome feedback including how we can shape the platform to meet you/our communities needs.
Email us at planning@wealden.gov.uk, we would love to hear from you.
