Publish Date: 30 September 2024
New businesses are invited to join Ready To Grow on 3 October, 12-3pm, at the Uckfield Civic Centre to learn about the free fully funded business support programme and get a free headshot, promotional video or website consultation.
Ready To Grow is a training programme for early-stage business owners who have been trading for less than three years. The programme offers a series of free connected workshops, providing advice and expertise on the practicalities of running a business, including finance, marketing, HR and more and also includes a free 1:1 business advisor session.
The programme is being delivered by Digital Islands, a specialist provider of business support services, in conjunction with East Sussex County, Wealden District, Lewes District, Eastbourne Borough and Rother District councils. Ready To Grow and Big Ambitions are both funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and will run until 31 March 2025.
Councillor Paul Coleshill, Alliance for Wealden (Liberal Democrat), and lead councillor for Climate Change and Economy at Wealden District Council, said, “This initiative is a great way for new local businesses to get expert advice enabling them to develop and grow. “New businesses will be able to access a range of programmes including workshops and one-to-one advice sessions. It is easy to apply, and free to use.”
