Who?

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

You will be team orientated but be able to work autonomously, and have the ability to receive, analyse and impart information clearly and concisely.

 

What will you be doing?

You will ensure that the Council complies with information rights legislation, namely the Data Protection Act (DPA, 2018), the UK-GDPR (2020), The Freedom of Information Act (FOI, 2000), and The Environmental Freedom of Information Regulations (EIR,2004).

You will also be dealing with Customer complaints ensuring appropriate systems are in place to analyse, report and record on outcomes and learning.

In this role you will be providing advice and guidance at all levels of the Council on related matters, including the governance framework and Information Security.

 

What do you need?

Your focus will be customer service and you will need to be capable of working through problems and issues and finding inventive solutions that fit within the relevant frameworks.

You must have working knowledge of the legislation surrounding information rights and information management and have excellent letter writing skills to effective communicate information.

The role is a varied one and we are looking for individuals who can multi task, work under pressure, troubleshoot and adhere to deadlines.
