Who?

We have opportunities for 5 motivated individuals to undertake Apprenticeships with Wealden District Council, learning and training alongside experienced staff, commencing in September 2024.

There are opportunities available to begin your apprenticeship in one of the following service areas:

  • Housing Policy – Level 3 Customer Services Specialist qualification (15 months)
  • Housing Options – Level 3 Customer Services Specialist qualification (15 months)
  • Land Charges (Planning) – Level 3 Business Admin qualification (18 months)
  • Information Governance – Level 4 Data Protection & Information Governance Practitioner qualification (18 months)
  • Waste & Street Scene – Level 3 Business Admin qualification (18 months)

What will you be doing?

  • You will shadow, learn from and provide support to a team of Officers within the Council whilst gaining valuable knowledge and experience for your future career.
  • You will be responsible for providing customer and administration support, as well as project work, ensuring operational deadlines are met.

 

What do you need?

  • A positive and proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and be a good team player.
  • You must be able to complete qualifications at Grade 4 (GCSE C & above) and meet the essential criteria as set out in the Person Specification found in the Job Description.
