Salary: £39,015.24 - £41,557.32 p.a Plus Car Allowance
Contract Type: Full Time/Fixed Term for 2 years/Open to Job Share
Hours: 37 hours / Full Time
Location: Based at Hailsham/Hybrid, East Sussex and Homeworking

Who?
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in tackling anti-social behaviour and supporting residents to join our team.
What will you be doing?
- Proactively managing a complex caseload whilst seeking creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
- Prioritising serious cases of ASB, for example, domestic violence.
- Conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, preparing legal paperwork and attending court hearings.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Delivering a five-star service to residents and partners in line with Wealden’s standards.
- Providing reports in line with Wealden’s performance indicators.
- Ensuring partnership working and community engagement is integral to your work, identifying community concerns and ensuring relevant agencies are actively engaged in victim focused solutions.
- Ensuring safeguarding issues are addressed as part of a multi-agency approach.
- Co-ordinating responses across departments to complaints regarding the service.
What do you need?
- Experience in an ASB Management or Tenancy Enforcement role within the social housing sector.
- Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and resolving conflict.
- Experience in providing early intervention and referrals to mediation services.
- Good knowledge and understanding of relevant Housing & Tenancy management principles and legislation including the Crime and Policing Act.
- Experience of taking witness statements and familiar with relevant legal paperwork and process.
- Experience of operating under set targets and develop action plans for areas of poor performance.
- Ability to self-motivate and plan work with minimum supervision.
- Collaborative and interpersonal skills. As an ASB Officer you will often have to work with other individuals and departments, this will require great people skills and the ability to empathise.
- Travel will be a key part of this role, so you will need a Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
