Sussex Homemove PIN FAQ

I can’t log in?

If you have not logged into Sussex Homemove since you submitted your application form, then you will first need to create an account. Go to ‘sign in’, then select ‘already registered without a password’ and follow the prompts. This is different to the application form and will create your Sussex Homemove account.

If you already have a Sussex Homemove account, you must provide your email address and password and wait for a unique PIN to be sent to your registered email address linked to your Sussex Homemove account.

How do I get my pin number?

When logging into your Sussex Homemove user account, you must enter the registered email address and password linked to your Sussex Homemove account. You will then need to wait for a unique PIN to be sent to your registered email address.

What is a pin number?

The PIN you use on each login is unique, with a new one sent to your registered email address linked to your Sussex Homemove account each time you try to login. Instructions will be shown on-screen when you next try to login to your Sussex Homemove account.

How long will I wait for my pin number?

Your PIN number will be sent to your registered email address linked to your Sussex Homemove account each time you try to login. If you have not received the PIN number within 10 minutes, please contact the council that your application is registered with.

In Wealden you will need to contact through 2FA@Wealden.gov.uk

I have forgotten my account password

If you have created an account by clicking ‘already registered without a password’ and now cannot remember your password, you can reset it. By:

  • Clicking on the ‘forgotten your password’ option, which can be found below, then click ‘login to your account’.
  • Select a ‘partner’ (this should be the council to which you submitted your application to): WDC (for Wealden District Council)
  • Add your ’email address’, then click on the ‘send email’. An email will be sent to your email address and will contain a link to reset your password.
  • Once you have reset your password, you can ‘login to your account’ with your PIN number.

Why has the Two Factor Authentication been introduced?

This is a new security feature that has been added to all Sussex Homemove accounts to keep users details safe and to prevent unauthorised access. This is sometimes referred to as “Two Factor Authentication” and is used by other services such as online banking.
