We will:
Keeping neighbourhoods safe and well-maintained
- Employ Estate Wardens to ensure our estates are safe, free from graffiti, rubbish and vandalism.
- Work with our residents and cleaning contractors to ensure contracted services are delivered in accordance with the contracts, reviewing these with residents before any re-tendering.
- We will work with and support our constituted Resident Groups to improve the areas where you live. This could be through a Community & Environmental Grant or through accessing external funding and could include environmental improvements such as tree planting, benches, planting or the provision of local activities and services.
- We will work with partners to deliver a range of other services ensuring you can access any advice and support that you may need around benefits, debts, employment. Digital support to help you get online, access to free courses through Street Learning and access to free activities.
- Through partnership working ensure accessible specialist local services are delivered and let you know what these are and how they can be accessed if you need them.
- Provide a range of ways to report anti-social behaviour (ASB).
- Keep our ASB policy under review and ensure residents contribute to the development of this. Using feedback from case closed surveys to shape any future changes.
- Employ a specialist ASB officer.
- Keep you informed about the progress of your anti-social behaviour report and the outcome of your case. Using the full range of anti-social behaviour remedies and tools available as appropriate.
- Carry out personal risk assessments for domestic abuse and serious anti-social behaviour.
- Keep our Domestic Abuse Policy under review.
- Fund and utilise the services provided to keep victims or domestic abuse and/or serious anti-social behaviour/crimes safe through our Sanctuary Scheme.
Attend multi-agency meeting round anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and safeguarding to protect local residents.
