How long is the appointment
A 10-minute time slot can be booked at a time which is convenient to you to discuss any concerns or issues you may be experiencing, or if you need advice on your tenancy. If you require longer than a 10-minute appointment, we will arrange a separate date and time for this.
If you make multiple bookings to extend the time limit, these will be cancelled to one booking only.
You cannot book an appointment to take place within 24 hours, if you are calling regarding an emergency you will need to call us directly on 01323 443322. Please be advised a booking may be cancelled or amended at short notice in the event of an emergency.
What happens if we have to cancel your appointment?
From time to time, it may be necessary to cancel your appointment due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances. If this is the case, someone from the Housing Management Team will amend the booking. If the alternative date and time is inconvenient, you will need to go back into “Manage your booking” and change to another time which is more suitable for you.
Can I make a booking if I am not a Council tenant?
Yes. Please make a booking so we can discuss your concerns.
When making a booking?
As well as arranging a date and time for the booking which is convenient to you, you will also be asked to summarise what the issue might be. If the issue raised is not for a Housing Officer to manage, the booking maybe cancelled and a response advising the reasons for this will be provided. In some cases, there may be a specialised team within the Council who would be better equipped to answer the query raised and this can then be redirected to them, without causing a delay.
How do you confirm the booking?
An email will be sent to the Housing Officer as well as yourself confirming the booking has been made.
