Set up in Spring 2025 the board’s ultimate purpose is to enable the voice of tenants to be heard and considered in the provision and development of the Council’s Housing Services.

The board membership is made up of:

• Two recruited tenant representatives who are Mike O’Shea and Warren Scheepers.
• Two recruited independent Board members, with extensive experience in the housing sector – decision pending following interviews.
• The Head of Housing or their nominated representative – Gemma Forshaw, Head of Housing.
• The Director for Community or their nominated representative – David Plank, Director of Community.
• Portfolio Holder for Housing and Benefits – Cllr Dan Manvell.
• One Councillor representative nominated on behalf of all the opposition political parties – Cllr Chris Primett (Conservative Councillor for Polegate Central)
