The East Sussex Procurement Hub (ESPH) is the shared procurement service, based at Wealden District Council, for Wealden District Council, Rother District Council and Hastings Borough Council.
Collectively, these Councils spend over £55 million per year on the procurement of a diverse range of goods, services and works, including:
- Works and Construction
- Consultancy
- Vehicle Management
- Financial Services
- Environmental Services
The ESPH was formed in 2010 and manages the procurement activities for these Councils, with the aim of employing tendering processes that are transparent, provide essential information to potential suppliers, and ensure a fair chance for all businesses. The ESPH also works closely with Lewes District Council and Eastbourne Borough Council on joint procurement exercises.
Our objectives are to:
- achieve efficiencies and savings
- offer a Centre of Excellence for procurement practice
- engage with local businesses and small and medium sized businesses
Current Tender Opportunities
We operate an e-tendering system which enables efficient and cost-effective procurement to be undertaken. Current opportunities to supply Hastings, Rother and Wealden Councils are listed on the SE Shared Services Portal, which also links to the national Contracts Finder register.
