Details Durgates Industrial Estate is situated to the north of the High Street (B2099), close to its junction with Mayfield Lane (B2100) in the centre of Durgates village, approximately 3.5 miles to the east of the A267 and 1 mile to the south east of Wadhurst railway station. The centre of Wadhurst. is 0.5 miles to the east.

Additional Information The village of Wadhurst is an important local employment centre in the northern part of the district providing jobs mainly in the retail, office and service sectors. The village business areas are situated at Durgates and to the north-west of the main village at the junction of Faircrouch Lane and Station Road. A large number of jobs are also available in shops and local services situated along the High Street and around The Square and along Station Road and Cousley Wood Road at Durgates. A small former works, the estate is now sub-divided into a number of business units. It is approached via a narrow entrance off the High Street. Most of the buildings date from the pre-war period, but currently appear to be functional and fit for purpose.
