Wealden Local Plan Consultation

Wealden District Council produced its Proposed Submission Wealden Local Plan for receipt of representations between Monday 13 August 2018 and 5pm on Monday 8 October 2018.

Representations submitted have been processed and can be viewed on our Consultation Portal.

Please note: Comments received by letter or email that do not set out which policy or section of the plan they relate will be allocated to the relevant policy or section by a Planning Officer. It is a requirement of the Planning Inspectorate that we submit comments on a policy basis not just a list of all comments received by each individual or organisation.

The Wealden Local Plan sets out planning policies for growth and change within Wealden District (excluding the area of the District which is within the South Downs National Park) up until 2028. After consideration of all representations received the Council intends to submit the document to the Secretary of State for examination later in 2018.

You can view the Proposed Submission Wealden Local Plan and associated documents below or at a number of venues across the District.
