We are now looking for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to assist in overseeing the performance of the Building Control Team in addition to reviewing and improving processes, policies and procedures to increase market share. You will also participate in the duty rota for out of hours dangerous structure calls. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of plans, activities and communications that support Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and enable the BC shared service to achieve its targets, income and objectives.

You will need substantial professional experience in building control (including some local authority experience) together with some management experience and full membership of R.I.C.S., C.A.B.E. or similar with excellent communication and customer service skills.
